SYNOPSIS

 In the boundless limbo, a burlap bag with a balloon strung to it is thrown into the empty space. Out of it crawls a young baby, tethered to the balloon, seeking to understand the world, limited as it is. As flowers bloom and seed, the child grows independent, discovering that the balloon is not what it seemed. Fleeing from their prison, the balloon, the child learns a harsh truth: solitude does not always bring the rest it hoped for.




MY CONTRIBUTION

- In a close collaboration with director and  team members  ensured a smooth workflow and timely     delivery of project, by setting the tasks daily and creating a convenient schedule.

- Monitored the quality of animation, ensuring that it meets the creative vision and industry standards.

- During production, assigned tasks based on team member’s strengths and availibility. Ensured  that workloads are balanced and manageable.

- Developed a recognizable Electronic Press Kit to support the distribution process

- During distribution, submitted the film to 40+ organizations and festivals.

SYNOPSIS

Lilia is a young Brazilian girl who just moved to Rotterdam. She finds herself in a position of confusion at this moment of her life, in the mix of not understanding how she ended up in such a place and where she is going. In this new life, she brings back her own culture and past, together with the new international environment of the city she arrives in.

By creating a storyline that surrounds her memories and future dreams, as well as a reflective and nostalgic environment. This project develops an interaction with the viewer, in which the audience questions who they are together with the character.

To achieve this point in which she understands herself and where she stands right now, Lilia travels through the key points of the city and we follow her life for a couple of days, as well as what the feeling of home is to her.

In the end, Lilia realizes that she is no longer who she used to be, and is far from being who she wants to become.

Oversee the set production,  create the prop lists, coordinate the set-design process, ensure the consistency of det in the scene.

MY CONTRIBUTION

- Supervised and advised the director on the animation production process, due to their lack of experience in this particular medium
- Working in a team and collaborating with my team, organized and managed production schedules, including coordinating meeting times, deadlines, and production milestones

- Developed initial character designs, defined character traits through appearance, and produced model sheets for consistency
- Created character and prop animation,  including keyframing, timing, and ensuring that the animation conveys the desired emotions, actions, and story elements effectively.
